Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Why should I hire a small firm?

Testimonial

A.

We are a small family firm, and we may not have the prestige, or limitless resources of a big law firm. However, with us, you are a person, not a number, or a file. We work smart to make sure that you are getting a value for your services, and are getting what you want, not what someone tells you that you want or that is easier to accomplish. We are a small firm, but we are mighty. We stand our ground for what is right and do not give up or walk away.

Q. What are your fees?

Testimonial

A.

Constance charges an hourly fee based on their knowledge and experience, and the complexity of your case. They also ask for an upfront retainer before beginning work on your case based on their fee and the number of hours they expect the case will take. Constance will explain the fee to you. You will never be surprised with charges. Brigman law offers payment plans and does accept Visa and MasterCard as well.

Q. When can you see me?

Testimonial

A.

You can reach us at our office Monday-Friday, from 10am-4pm.

Constance often works both before and after office hours to ensure that all our clients cases are handled in a timely and responsible fashion. We offer these hours to guarantee that someone will be there to answer your questions in person, via phone or through email. However, our work schedule goes far beyond our office hours.

Please feel free to call us and schedule an appointment.

Q. What happens if I try this myself?

Testimonial

A.

In short, mistakes. The law can be tricky and complicated. Just as good intentions often can lead to problems, so can being your own lawyer. There are rules and exceptions that you may not know about, and every action in law has consequences. These little mistakes can add up to be a much bigger and more expensive legal problem.

It is easier, and often more cost efficient to hire a good attorney upfront. That way, you have someone who knows you, and your case from the start, and doesn’t have to re-do or start over in getting to a solution.

Q. How do you fix broken promises?

Testimonial

A.

Brigman Law supports families through crises arising from divorce, death, disability or a personal misstep that also broke the law. We have seen, and represented individuals and families who have been left in a mess based on bad advice, being cheated or lied to or even simply because someone did not understanding what they wanted. We understand that others may leave the job half finished, and that help may make a situation worse. We won’t leave you worse off. We work to do what is right, and needs to be done, not just what is convenient or easy.

We are creative, compassionate and committed individuals. We give our clients the legal representation that we ourselves would want if we were the ones who were paying for it. We do not leave a job half finished, and we do not give up or switch our strategy just because it is hard. Our goal is to work smart, make it happen for our clients. Brigman Law wants to be the kind of law firm that draws clients to us not just for a case, but also for life.
